Automattic – the company behind WordPress (a CMS powering 40% of all websites), Gutenberg (the block-based WordPress editor), and many other notable products.

• Active contributor to the WordPress REST API component: improved performance for HEAD requests and preloading, implemented endpoints for template and template parts revisions and autosaves.
• Release lead for Gutenberg 12.2: oversaw the release process, including testing, curating the changelog, preparing release candidates, and publishing the release package.
• Contributed to notable Gutenberg React blocks/components such as Navigation block, Widgets, and Font Library.
• Creator and maintainer of the Gutenberg Coding Standards package, which streamlined code backports to WordPress Core and prevented naming conflicts.
• Improved Gutenberg’s CI pipeline and developer experience: implemented testing across multiple PHP versions and parallelized PHPCS checks.
• Supported the wider WordPress community: triaged issues, reviewed contributions, member of the Test Team, and a General Translation Editor for WordPress.

• One of the key contributors to Mautic (and its commercial fork, Campaign Studio), an open-source marketing automation platform.
• Worked on major platform upgrades, including migration to Symfony 3.x and jQuery 3.x.
• Helped launch Campaign Factory, a Laravel + Vue.js-based system for managing multi-campaign environments.
• Improved user experience through refined UI behavior, tooltip accuracy, and clearer error messages.
• Enhanced plugin and integration stability by fixing edge cases and race conditions in complex setups—such as Citrix OAuth2, SparkPost email delivery, and campaign action logging.

NEKLO is a web agency based in California, USA, with offices in Poland, Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

• Played a key role in building the core functionality of the Carbon38.com webstore (Magento 1.x) from scratch in under two months, including product and category pages and a custom checkout experience with integrated Braintree and PayPal payment methods.
• Oversaw a development team of 2 developers, conducted technical job interviews, code reviews, and served as lead developer on the project from 2014 to 2018.
• Made critical architectural decisions, such as designing a preorder system to securely store payment data for later processing, and implemented performance optimizations using New Relic.
• Headed NEKLO’s Czech branch from 2015 to 2018, representing the company locally and handling responsibilities such as accounting, signing legal documents, and conducting job interviews.
